Founder, President  & Executive Director

Wendy is a respected leader in the field of association management with a career spanning four decades. She founded WJ Weiser & Associates, Inc. in 1988, initially as a medical practice management firm. The company expanded in 1990 to become a medical specialty and subspecialty association management company. Under Wendy's leadership, the company grew to become a trusted partner to over 80 national and international medical organizations. In 2015, the company was sold to private equity. Wendy's departure in 2020 marked her successful tenure as the founder of one of the largest medical association management companies in the world and has solidified her reputation as a respected leader in the business.

Robert L. Hirsch, Ph.D
VP, Marketing & Tournament Development 

Bob is a viral immunologist, and has diverse and extensive academic and industry research, product development and commercialization experience, and is now the Senior Vice President and Director of Immunology at Immugen BioPharma, Inc. He has previously lead Development, Operations and Medical Marketing for innovative new product developments and launches.  Bob has managed successful groups at Johnson and Johnson, MedImmune, Inc. and Auxillium Pharmaceuticals.  For the past 20 years, Bob has been managing Hubsco Bio Consulting, LLC.  He also used his accumulated life time experience to publish his first novel, Invisible Threat, a bioterrorism thriller, published by iUniverse.  The second book is in process.

Bob loves to hit the links and played on his high school and was college teams.  He played in many Pro-Ams in Pennsylvania with his golf professional brother, and in State tournaments in New Jersey,  Maryland,  Florida and Rhode Island, winning one with his son. 

Bob received his AB from Brandeis, his doctorate from Georgetown University and, continued in academics at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and University of Maryland School of Medicine for 10 years before heading into the pharmaceutical industry.

Laura is a results-driven nonprofit professional with a comprehensive background in association management, including executive director. She is known for embedding high-quality program management practices and ensuring effective, value-added outcomes for the organizations she serves. Laura is resourceful, tenacious, and insightful. Skilled in orchestrating successful events, ranging from educational meetings to golf tournaments, Laura looks forward to managing PSAGA's own.  Laura received her BA in Global Business Management  from Bournemouth University, UK and her MA in International Relations and Diplomacy from Staffordshire University, UK.
